These apply to onlinegamespk.org and the Friday newsletter. Using the site means you accept them. They're short on purpose.
What this site is
OnlineGamesPK publishes news, reviews and guides about video games. It is an editorial publication. It is not a game, a store, a gambling service, or a platform for playing anything. Nothing here takes money from readers or pays money to readers, and there is no wagering, prize draw or real-money play of any kind on this site.
The newsletter
It's free. Submitting your email address subscribes you to one issue per week and nothing else. Unsubscribe from the link at the bottom of any issue; it takes effect immediately. We may pause, change the format of, or discontinue the newsletter — if we discontinue it, we'll say so in an issue first.
Our content
Articles, reviews, guides, photographs and the design of this site belong to OnlineGamesPK unless credited otherwise. Quote us with a link and we're glad. Don't republish whole pieces, and don't reproduce our work under your own byline.
Game names, logos, screenshots and trademarks belong to their publishers. We use them for reporting and criticism. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any game publisher or platform holder.
Accuracy, and what our advice is worth
We check what we publish, but games patch constantly and hardware prices move weekly. Reviews and scores are opinion. Guides are our best understanding at the time of writing. Buying advice is editorial opinion, not financial advice, and a price we quote may not be the price you're offered.
Follow our advice at your own risk — particularly anything involving hardware, modifications, or third-party software. If we get something wrong, tell us and we'll correct it and note the change on the piece.
Links to other sites
We link out constantly. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for what's on them or what they do with your data. Where a link earns us a commission, we say so on the page.
Using the site fairly
Don't scrape the site at a volume that degrades it, don't attempt to break into it, and don't submit an email address that isn't yours. That's the whole list.
Liability
The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for loss arising from your use of it or reliance on anything published here. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Karachi have jurisdiction over any dispute.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and material changes get a note in the newsletter.
